Jay was the founder and chairman of AngioGuard, Inc, (acquired by J&J in 1998) which developed the first filter for emboli prevention during interventional and surgical procedures.Dr. Yadav held various staff positions at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, or CCF, including the Ferchill Distinguished Chair, Chairman of the Center for Medical Innovation as well as Director of Vascular Intervention.Jay is currently the CEO of CardioMems in Atlanta GA.

Tom brings a unique background to FocalCool, with research and development experience in heat transfer biomedical devices, and biotechnology. He has worked for United Technologies - Carrier, the University of Pittsburgh Medical School, Abiomed, Inc., Wyeth Research, and MicroDose Therapeutx.

Jenn Akers is a recent graduate of the University of Delaware where she conducted graduate research using small animal models.She has experience in animal testing protocol preparation and execution, microscopy, animal dissection, and specimen histology.Jenn leads our animal testing and grant writing work.

Denise worked for 10 years at Carrier Corporation in their Heat Transfer Research Division in Syracuse NY.She brings extensive experience in heat exchanger design and testing.
Todd Nilsen, B.S. Research & Development Engineer
Toddis a recent graduate of Rowan University’s College of Engineering.He plays an integral role in prototype design and manufacturing, including console development.
Adam Parker Engineering Intern
Adamis a current student at Rowan University’s College of Engineering. He significantly contributes to both catheter and cooling console development, as well as device testing.
