FocalCool is a medical device startup company in the South Jersey Technology Park on the Rowan University campus.

Our goal -- develop technology that reduces tissue damage from heart attacks and strokes.

Using a cooling guide catheter system, we can apply rapid localized cooling to internal organs.

Today with NIH support we are demonstrating heart tissue salvage capabilities with the University of Pennsylvania.
