Welcome to FocalCool

FocalCool is a medical device startup company in the South Jersey Technology Park on the Rowan University campus.

Our goal -- develop technology that reduces tissue damage from heart attacks and strokes.

Using a cooling guide catheter system, we can apply rapid localized cooling to internal organs.  Applications include Heart, Kidney, Spinal Cord and Brain sites.

Today with NIH SBIR Phase II funding and in collaboration with Rowan University, the South Jersey Technology Park, and University of Pennsylvania we intend to conduct important pre-clinical testing -- demonstrating tissue salvage.
